I am a writer. I am a writer who believes the world needs stories. I want to contribute by making poignant narrative accessible to all. My mission is to learn and grow within the world of libraries and information sciences. I have studied, practiced, and applied skills toward areas of interest in cataloging, metadata, and collections development to enhance searchability, linked data, and open access. The history and voices and representation found in archives drives me to help make these artifacts available to the communities that need them. I have recently completed my degree in the Master of Library and Information Sciences program at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. I also work as a University Library Technician for Laupus Health Sciences Library at East Carolina University.
